Abstract

The Compact Disc (2 copies) in this collection was made shortly after Clara Rosen's 91st birthday. Rosen provides basic biographical details about her family and herself, and she discusses growing up in west Denver. She also talks about the important role that family, Jewish traditions, and music played throughout her life. The CD is interspersed with singing and ends with Clara Rosen performing "Sunrise, Sunset," a song that she had often sung at family celebrations.

This series contains two copies of the Rosen Family Tribute featuring Clara Rosen and produced by Daniel Sladek, "Tapestry," a CD featuring Osi and Selma Sladek, and a two-set CD of Osi Sladek live at the Budhai in Oklahoma City, 1960.

Custodial History

The Rosen Family Tribute was part of the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society Oral Histories, B098 collection before being transferred to the Rosen and Sladek Family Papers.
