Abstract
Louis J. Sinow (1910-1999) was a violinist and composor, famous for his composition "Illinois, Illinois, Illinois" which was recommended by the Governor of Illinois to be used prior to the "Know Your Illinois" radio broadcast in the 1950s. He and his family moved to Denver in the 1960s where he performed locally. He died in California.
