Container 105: Hand-Illustrated Strategic Planning Poster, College History Roadmap, 2013

This box contains one large poster that were created by the DU Daniels College of Business faculty and staff. The poster was created while faculty and staff were developing a strategic plan for the Daniels College of Business in 2013. Presumably, Alchemy is the company that hosted the strategic planning event and created this poster as a result of the faculty and staff discussions and ideas.

The large poster is 4 feet tall by 9 feet wide. It is titled "The Evolution of Excellence: Daniels College of Business University of Denver." The poster features a large winding roadmap that traces the history of the Daniels College of Business from DU's establishment in 1864 and the College of Business' founding in 1908 all the way to 2010 when the College completed the first turn for their strategic plan. It has illustrations and comments along the roadmap that mark important histoical events and trends in the College's history. Across the top of the poster, it also lists the College's Vision: "A premier private business college globally recognized as a leader whose educational expereinces, outreach, and knowledge creation transforms lives, organizations, and communities." The poster also lists the Colleges goals: "Market-relevant programs, Research-driven knowledge creation, Interdisciplinary collaboration, Community of choice, Financial and resource strength, Leading-edge infastructure, and Reputation." Across the bottom of the poster, the College's mission is stated: "Dedicated to educating ethical business leaders, advancing the theory and practice of business, and making a positive global impact. Lastly, the College's values are also listed across the bottom: "Excellence, Ethics, and Community." At the bottom of the poster it says "Alchemy" and has the following phone number and link: 720-932-8720, www.link2alchemy.com.
