Box 25: Bo(u)nd, Eggshells, 2014
Abstract
This box contains the eggshells of 3 dozen eggs. These eggshells were part of the book-installation Bo(u)nd.
Part of the bo(u)nd installation was a vintage double-sized brass bed in the center of the gallery; its top mattress was slit down the middle. In the slit nested several hundred hand-washed eggshells; a coverlet of white, thin cotton with over 16,000 stitches covers the two sides of the bed.

This collection consists of the process materials related to the construction of the Christina Noel Tribute Book about dance teacher Christina Noel, created by artist Heather Doyle-Maier.
