 File — Box: M486.0026
Identifier: M486.02.0026

Abstract

This box contains the cables and wires that were used in the installation of "Bo(u)nd" by Heather Doyle-Maier. Some of the cables are bare while others are wrapped in a cream-colored fabric that is zipped shut along the cable. Hair bands with beads on them are being used to hold the cables together in coils.

In the art installation, these industrial cables were mounted to the walls and intersected with the bed in the center of the installation; they were secured to the bed with grommets.
