Abstract

This box includes flyers, notes, communications, and planning materials for events hosted by the University of Denver's Center for Multicultural Excellence (which became the Office of Campus Life and Inclusive Execellence's Inclusive & Equity Education Office). Some of the events in this box were divided into folder based on what academic year they took place during. Other events were divided into folders individually. There are also materials from summits that occured at the University of Denver. These include the COLEADS Annual Summit (2009-2015); COLEADS stands for Colorado Leadership for Equity, Advocase, and Discovering Social Justice, and this summit was sponsored by CME. There are also materials from the DU Diversity Summit (2009-2018). Lastly, there are materials from the Diversity & Unity Retreat that DU hosted (2004-2012).

This collection contains materials created by, stored by, and references by the DU Center for Multicultural Excellence. This includes articles by third parties about relevant topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion on college campuses. Materials (such as flyers, attendence records, worksheets, etc) from events hosted or sponsored by CME at DU. There are administrative records which were internal papers about budget, annual reports, evaluations, committees, publications, and more. Lastly, this collection holds other various papers from CME such as thank you letters and other records.
