Box 27: 3rd Party Publications, 2000-2022
Abstract
This box contains articles, magazines, and serials by outside entities that are not the University of Denver. There are some resources that were grouped by topic, some cover campus change, cultural appropriation, or intergroup dialogue. There are printouts of scholarly articles from a variety of sources and journals. However, there are also many full-sized serials and magazines from the Southern Poverty Law Center. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) publishes annual reports and their other publications include resources on topics like combating poverty, strengthening democracy, and protecting immigrant rights, as well as educational materials from its former Teaching Tolerance project, now known as Learning for Justice. It is assumed that all of these materials were used by the CME to inform their practices, inspire new programs and events, and keep them up to date on what other institutions are doing for diversity and inclusion.
