Box 20: Large Posters, between 1975-1990
Abstract
This box contains oversize posters and collages that feature the Hannah Kahn Dance Company or Hannah Kahn as a Choreographer and advertise for varius performances. Some posters were produced by the Hannah Kahn Dance Company for their specific events and dances and others were made by the hosting company. All posters have dates of the performance but none have the years. The posters for "Dance Uptown" can be assumed to have taken place between 1975-1988 when Hannah Kahn was in New York City.

There are two poster collage boards made of foam board with posters and flyers taped to them. The first is 32in x 40in and says "2001-2003" at the top. It features posters for Rising to the Surface and other dances, A Winter Celebration: Arise, Free Performance at the Colorado Performing Arts Center, Free Performance at the Denver Botanic Gardens, Time is Gonna Bring You Spring and other dances, and Confluence and other dances. The second large collage is 36in x 24in and does not have a title, but some posters are from 2005. This one features colorful photos of dancers performing along with posters/flyers for Bring Us Home: New Dances for Spring, Free Indoor Performance at the Denver Botanic Gardens, Hannah Kahn Dance Company Open Studio, and Free Performance at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
