Abstract

This box contains a variety of outreach and publicity materials from the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp.

Materials in this box include copies of the camp newsletter (Mansfield Pine Bark) from 1925-2008, programs from theatre performances and dance shows from 1956-1977, postcards, camp history news articles, artciles about Charlotte Perry and Portia Mansfield, writings by Charlotte Perry "Kingo" from 1948-1963, possibly including an article called "A Trip to All of the Planets in the Solar System," materials about books about Perry-Mansfield, Dancers on Horseback Book, writings by and articles about camp staff and former students, writings by Portia Mansfield, Ingrid Wekerle writings, an interview, scrapbooks of clippings, brochures about programs and courses offered by the camp, boys' camp brochures, and newspapers.

From the Collection:

This collection materials related to the Perry-Mansfield Dance Camp along with personal papers of Charlotte Perry, Portia Mansfield, and Ingrid Wekerle. Camp materials include administrative papers, teaching materials, scripts, production notes, props, publicity, outreach, clippings, artwork, photographs, photo albums, scrapbooks, tapes, and more. Personal papers include family records; correspondence; research; legal documents; memorials for Perry, Mansfield, and Smith; a map of the Rocky Mountain National Park; and photos taken by Ken Proper.
