One of mine is Assistance League of Denver, who sponsor 'Tables Extraordinaire.' Your loyal support will enable them to continue their ever-expanding philanthropies, which are: HELP (Hopital Equiptment Lending Program). Loans of wheelchairs, walkers, hydraulic lifts, etc., are nade to neddy patients. An Artificial Kidney, Stryker Burn bed, Linde Reservoir (for Emphysema victims) are included in equiptment loaned. 'Milk on heels' at Denver General Hospital serves milk and crackers to outpatients awaiting services. Sponsorship of San Francisco Opera Co. auditions, with a cash grant awarded the winner. Co-sponsorship of the Western Frontier art exhibit held at Denver Art Museum summer of 1966. One of the seven sponsors for the Santa Claus Ship Inc. Assistance League of Denver ha been proud to be associated with the childrens' speech therapy at the University of Denver Speech Clinic since 1962. 'Helping the Man Help Himself' is accomplished through Assistance League Foundation. To support these philanthropies 'Tables Extraordinaire' is one and only fund raising event of the year. Knowning you are such a busy person, I wnated to give you dates for the 'Tables' show in advance. please mark your calendar now!! Suggestions for selling tickets - Why not entertain your bridge club, or sewing group at 'Tables?' A good way to entertain a neighbor or friend!! a way to tip your hairdresser, service station attendant, as well as many others!!
