Transcript of Dr. Max Loewenstein and Marie Steinberg's marriage certificate from Standesamt, the Registry Office of Berlin, Germany. Information on this document includes Max and Marie's full names, occupations, and where they were living before their marriage. The document was originally signed and issued January 3, 1925. The document was stamped and accepted in Berlin by the Nazis as proof of why Marie was living in a Jewish household, February 28, 1943, signed with an illegible signature, and notarized.
