Letter from Philip Hillkowitz, JCRS, to Jacob Schoen, Independent Order Brith Abraham, 1906 June 15
Abstract
A two page typed letter from President Philip Hillkowitz, JCRS, to Jacob Schoen, Independent Order Brith Abraham, concerning Jacob Goldstein. President Hillkowitz writes that JCRS had Jacob Goldstein get his meals at JCRS and that Mr. Goldstein took that opportunity to camp at the premise and seizing a temorarily empty bed for nine days. He continues that he has asked local charities to assist Mr. Goldstein. The letter is unsigned with the word "President" typed at the bottom. The second page is a post script answering Mr. Schoen's request that Mr. Goldstein be assisted to enter another Denver hospital. Mr. Hillowitz writes that no hospital will admit him as a charity case.
