Bag with Beth Ha Medrosh Hagadol Synagogue Medals, between 1925-1930
Abstract
A turquoise flannel bag with pink and blue silk-cord drawstring. The bag holds three Beth Ha Medrosh Hagadol Synagogue (BMH) medals attached to a satin ribbon. The first is a rectangular medal with three blue stars on a white background outlined in red. The second is a gold-plated medal with scroll work and the inscription ''Alumni Medal, Awarded to Pearl [sic] Hayutin, BMH Religious School for General Excellence 5690-1930.'' The third is a copper-plated medal scrollwork and the inscription ''Goldie Rabinowitz Medal, B.M.H. Religious School for Merit 5686-1925.'' The back is inscribed ''Pearl [sic] Hayutin.'' Originally belonged to Peryle Hayutin Beck.
