Allied Jewish Federation, between 1945-1960
Several men and women at a dinner of the Allied Jewish Federation in a large room. Three banners hang behind the head table. One banner reads, ''Fighting Anti Semitism a primary obligation of American Jewry.'' One banner has an image of a man speaking on a telephone and reads, '''I start work today!' Americans ask: 'Is he a good worker?' Not 'What's his race or religion?''' One banner has four images of men in uniform and the image of a sinking warship and reads, ''These immort[remainder of line is blocked by a lamp]; Catholic, Protestant; Died to save men of all faith.''
