Shulman cannot attend the farewell luncheon due to illness and asks that Palmierie please forward a message to Vorontsov. In this message he speasks of the respect he has for the integrity and distinction with which Vorontsov served both his country and the international community.

This series contains letters of tribute to and about Yuli Vorontsov from various people. The letters were written specifically with regard to a farewell luncheon that was taking place.
