Honorary degree recipients: Howard Jenkins, Jr. Doctor of Laws, he obtained a bachelor of arts degree in 1936 and a law degree in 1941, both from the University of Denver and Albert Harold Rosenthal, Doctor of Laws, a native of Denver, he received a bachelor of arts degree with honors from the University of Denver in 1936. The conferring of degrees: Maurice B. Mitchell, Chancellor of the University.
