Abstract
Program for the University of Denver doctoral, graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremony, June 4, 1983. Honorary degrees recipients: Willy Schaeffler, Doctor of Humane Letters, he came to the U.S. after the World War II on the vague promise of a job at DU, obtanined it and went on to win 13 NCAA championships for the University, in the process 24 DU races were named All-American and 15 made U.S. Olympic teams; Dr. Kenneth W. Thompson, Doctor... of Laws, he is a member of the board of trustees of DU's Social Science Foundation. Closing remarks by: Ross Pritchard, Chancellor of the University.
