Creating Communities Digitized Images
Abstract
The Denver Public Library began the Creating Communities Project in 2008. The library and partners, including the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society (RMJHS), contributed information and digitized images on different Denver neighborhoods. RMJHS contributed images of the West Colfax Jewish neighborhood. In 2012, the project expanded to digitize photographs of individual families. On July 23, 2012, RMJHS and the Denver Public Library had an ice cream social and digitized photographs of the Bernstein/Perlmutter family, two Judd families, Mellman family, and the Ambrose family.
