Abstract

A large Jewish family emigrated from Wilna, Lithuania. Sam Miller was born in 1872 and died in Wyoming in 1946. The family emigrated when Sam Miller was nine. Sam's brothers Robert Lazar and Joseph Miller also went into the cattle business. Joseph Miller was the father of Israel Miller and the grandfather of Micky Miller. The collection contains newsclippings, and documents relating to Sam Miller's ranch and cattle business. Document includes a brand certificate, loan from Ben Melnick, information on a silo, and agreement for repairing the reservoir on the ranch. There is also a copy of letterhead for Joe Miller and Sons. There are obituaries for Jake Miller, Joseph Miller and his son Israel Miller. Sam and Joseph were brothers and Israel Miller was the father of Micky Miller.
