Abstract

Max Rosenthal was born in Denver, Colorado on May 14, 1883 and died in Denver on May 31, 1960. He was one of the first two electrical contractors in Denver, was a Master Mason, and founded the Williams and Rose Co. in 1912. Anna M. Schatz was born in Omaha, Nebraska on December 12, 1889 and died in Denver on February 17, 1980. The couple was married on June 5, 1906 in Bloomfield Park and raised a son and four daughters. Max and Anna Rosenthal were members of the BMH Synagogue. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary at a dinner dance at the Brown Palace Hotel. Collection contains programs, clothing, ephemera, ornaments and other materials from the Rosenthals 50th Anniversary, biographical materials, certificates, and awards from Max and Anna Rosenthal from 1904 through 1979.
