Biographical / Historical

Eleanore "Ellie" Weckbaugh was born in Denver in 1905. She was the granddaughter of a wealthy miller, and was a central figure of Denver high society. She never married nor had children, and her mansion was the site of many parties. She was active for many years in the Central City Opera House Association Guild. She died in 1977.
