Schloss Family Papers and World War II Artifact
Scrapbook, 1929 - 1944
This scrapbook contains family photos of the Loeb Family starting around 1929 and ending around 1944. The scrapbook itself is covered with a multicolored striped fabric and bound with a decorative fabric cord. The pages are black, and there are pages of spiderweb patterned tissue paper between each page. Many pictures are loose in the book. The front of the book has pictures of Ernest Loeb as a child, and later pages have pictures of Ernest as a soldier in WWII.
Sears Family Papers
This collection contains the papers of Vera Sears (1912-2008), dance instructor at the University of Denver, and her husband Edwin Sears (1903-1964), a law professor at the University of Denver. The Sears family emigrated to the United States from Germany in the 1930s. These papers include correspondence, photographs, teaching materials, legal materials, clippings, dance notation notebooks, publications, scrapbooks, and audiovisual materials.

Box contains one file folder from this series. File folder five contains Bert Byron's, Clara Dunn's, and Dolly Grey's personal documents. This includes certificates, property documents, subdivision plat, and death certificates.
Sermons, 1939
This folder contains two sermons. The first is titled, "Are we on Trial," and was delivered on September 15, 1939 (the second day of Rosh HaShanah)--just 12 days after England entered World War II. The second sermon is titled, "In G-d we Trust," and was delivered on September 23 at the Yizkor service during Yom Kippur.

This folder contains two sermons that were delivered on the first and second days of Rosh HaShanah. The first sermon is titled, "Is There Room for Optimism," and was delivered on October 3, 1940. The second sermon is titled, "And Where is G-d," and was delivered one day later on October 4.
