Overview

The Institute of Archival Studies was a joint program of the History Department and the School of Librarianship at the University of Denver in cooperation with the State of Colorado. The Director of the program was Dolores C. Renze, State Archivist of Colorado and associate professor, Department of History, University of Denver. The purpose was to provide training for historians and librarians in the principles of archival management and records administration.
