JCRS Waiter, between 1900-1930
A man identified as Frenburg poses in a waiter's uniform in front of a brick building. The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. It was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside Denver.

Jewish Holiday/Theme Windows, January, 2023
This is a photograph of a set of four stained glass windows at BMH-BJ. The window on the bottom right is of the High Holidays (Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur) and features a Shofar, scale, and the word Zacharnu (we remember), the window on the bottom left is of two lions holding the ten commandments, the window in the upper left is of wine and grapes, and the window in the top right is depicting the Passover holiday and its accoutrements.

The window on the bottom right is of Megilat Esther (the scroll of Esther)--read during the Jewish holiday of Purim, the window on the bottom left is of Shabbat and Havdalah, the window in the upper left is of Sukkot, and the window in the top right appears to be depicting the dove and olive branch from the story of Noah.
