Abstract

Truck Company No. Two, First Corps Artillery Park roster. There is a red circle with an image inside and around the circle is an eagle and an American flag. At the top of the roster is printed: ''First C.A.P.'' Sidney Israelski was an American soldier in the First Corps Artillery Park, Truck Unit Two, Third Army Corps of the American Expeditionary Forces.

Abstract

This scrapbook contains family photos of the Loeb Family starting around 1929 and ending around 1944. The scrapbook itself is covered with a multicolored striped fabric and bound with a decorative fabric cord. The pages are black, and there are pages of spiderweb patterned tissue paper between each page. Many pictures are loose in the book. The front of the book has pictures of Ernest Loeb as a child, and later pages have pictures of Ernest as a soldier in WWII.

Abstract

Sidney Israelski, wearing an army uniform, is standing in front of a building at Fort Riley, Kansas. Sidney Israelski served in the United States Army during World War I and was drafted in 1942. He was at Fort Riley for a short time during World War II before he was released from the army to work in the defense industry at Winter-Weiss in Denver, Colorado.

Abstract

A pencil on paper drawing of a hooded ski trooper wearing sunglasses and carrying a gun, signed and dated lower right. This figure is used as part of the design for the 10th Mountain Division poster sold by Vintage Ski World. An upwards adjustment was made for this particular work given its association with the well-known poster.
