Rocky Mountain PBS presented "The Life and Artwork of Maria Lowenstein" on the television show Arts District. The segment also included set designs of Henry Lowenstein. There was also an exhibit at Niza Knoll Gallery and another exhibit at the University of Denver. The folder contains correspondence and a biographical sketch. There is also a DVD of the Arts District program segment.

Sketch book is dated "1954" on front cover; "Maria" and "Summer Canada" is also written on cover. "20" written in top right corner of front cover; presumably it was priced at 20 cents.

One Winsor Spiral Sketchbook, size 5 x 8, filled with pencil sketches of buildings, landscapes and seascapes, one watercolor and a few ink drawings. Several of the sketches have locations in and around Quebec written on them. Sketch book is dated "Summer 1956" on front cover; "Maria Lowenstein" is also written on cover. Stamped "Plankenhorn Stationary Co. Williamsport 2, PA" with "20" written in top right corner of front cover; presumably it was priced at 20 cents.

One sketch is of Losch Farm Machinery which was located in Mansfield, PA about 50 miles north of Williamsport. Sketch book is not dated but is identical to sketchbook dated 1956. Stamped "Plankenhorn Stationary Co. Williamsport 2, PA" with "20" written in top right corner of front cover; presumably it was priced at 20 cents.
