Abstract Exterior view of the Geriatric Center at Beth Israel Hospital in Denver, Colorado at the corner of Sixteenth Avenue and Lowell Boulevard. Beth Israel opened in Denver's west-side community in 1920 as a Jewish old-age home. It added a Jewish-run general hospital in 1923. Sparked by Bella Mintz, it garnered the support of members of Denver's Jewish community from throughout the city. Abstract

A group of girls sit in a circle and toss a ball to one another, outside the Jewish National Home for Asthmatic Children in Denver. The Home's history began in 1907 as a refuge for lower-income children whose parents were being treated for tuberculosis, or had passed away from tuberculosis. It has changed names several times, changing its focus to asthmatic children in 1953.

The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. The sanatorium was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver.
