Abstract Sam Stoole was born in Denver in 1910 and graduated from the University of Colorado School of Engineering. He worked as an engineer for the State of Colorado for seven years. In the early 1940s, he began commercial construction and founded the Sam Stoole Construction Company. Samuel Ralph Freeman was a lawyer originally from New York. He was assistant to the Colorado Attorney General from 1955-1958, Vice President of the Denver Rio Grande Railroad and later as the assistant to the chancellor at the University of Denver. Abstract Michael (Michel) Shames, the son of Rifka and Isaac Leib Milstein Shames, was a colonist at the failed agricultural colony at Cotopaxi, Colorado (1882-1884).
