Abstract Evelyn Rosenthal Stone was born in 1910. She graduated from the University of Denver in 1955 with her BA and again in 1958 with her MA, both in Education. She was a member of Delta Kappa gamma sorority and was one of the first women to be inducted into the Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity. in 1984 she was presented by the Minoru Yasui Community Volunteer Award for her extensive volunteer work with schools, the University, various medical centers, and the Salvation Army, among others.
