Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to G. Newman. Spivak tells Newman that he received the $2.00 Newman sent for the certified statement of the death of Anna Hornstein. He informs Newman that JCRS will comply with her request to send a death certificate once she pays $31.50 for funeral expenses. Spivak tells her he can send her the bill if she wishes. He expects to hear from her and signs the letter “Secretary” at the bottom.

Spivak tells Barsky that after deducting the amount from Sam’s personal possessions the bill would total $26.12.
