Overview Membership card issued by Deutscher Makkabi-Kreis e.V. --Jüdischer Pfadfinderbund Makkabi Hazair, the Jewish Scout Association, to Heinrich Loewenstein [Henry Lowenstein] in Berlin, Germany. Inside the front cover is a stamp from the Jewish Scout Association and a photograph of Heinrich. The first page has been filled out by hand with information about Heinrich including his birth date and place, address, and the year he started in the scouts. The next page has been initialed for each month...

Overview Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to E. Rothman. Spivak enclosed a membership application as Rothman requested to enroll as a volunteer at JCRS. Spivak also says that it is a great deal of pride and pleasure to know that Benjamin Rothman is speaking so highly about the sanatorium. He includes a postscript at the bottom of the letter that says that he will send Rothman a copy of the sixth annual report in a separate letter.
