Abstract A group of men and women are outside of a building and beneath a tree. Milton Louis Anfenger, without a jacket, is standing behind a woman. Five of the women are wearing large hats. The photograph is on page 78 of Milton Anfenger's scrapbook. It is said that Congregation Emanuel in Denver, Colorado was founded at the bris or circumcision ceremony of Milton Anfenger, the eldest son of Louis and Louise Anfenger. Group of men and women standing in front of a large wood fence. Milton Anfenger is eighth from the right in the front. He is standing sideways and is smoking a cigar. The photograph is on page 172 of Milton Anfenger's scrapbook. He belonged to a number of organizations, including B'nai B'rith and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Milton Anfenger was also a Colorado state senator and an attorney.
