Jesse Shwayder holds an incendiary bomb manufactured by Shwayder Brothers during World War II. From left to right: Emmet Heisler, Jesse Shwayder, seated, Louis Degen. Two of the men in the photograph are unidentified. The Shwayders founded the Samsonite Corporation.

A cardboard box with top and sides covered with marbled beige, blue and gold paper. The top is padded and the bottom is finished with gold paper. It has a satin ribbon tab and catch. The inside top finished with teal paper embossed with a gold 'fan' in the center. The inside bottom base is finished with teal paper and lined with teal satin material with gold colored dots.

Collection contains burial records from Jewish cemeteries in Colorado. The Old Capitol Hill Cemetery, Rose Hill Cemetery, Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Golden Hill Cemetery, and Fairmount Cemetery from 1871 through 1921 are including in the collection. Records include (if known) names, place of birth, birthdate, age, marital status, cause of death, and date of death.
Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society Blanket, circa 1930-1950
Tan and dark brown blanket bearing the words, ''J.C.R.S. Denver, Colo.'' There is a rectangular checkerboard pattern which runs parallel to the perimeters of the blanket itself. One side of the blankets is primarily tan with dark brown accents and the reverse side is dark brown with tan accents. Identical to B002.16.0347.00002.
Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society's Campus Drawing, 1923
The Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS) campus includes the crop fields, the main buildings and tent cottages. The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. It was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver. This photograph of a birds-eye view drawing is mounted on cardboard 12.5 x 21 inches.
