Abstract A group of people attend a ceremony for the laying of a cornerstone at the New York Ladies Auxiliary building at the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS) on April 19, 1908. The building was a round, red brick building that housed the less contagious tuberculosis (TB) patients. Rabbi C. E. L.E. Clement, also known as Clemmie, was born in Denver in 1909. Reflects on recreation activities at the Rocky Mountain Lake including a playground, tennis courts, sledding, and ice skating. Clements reminisces on swimming at Berkeley Lake. Reflects on becoming the first Colorado woman parachute jumper, jumping from a biplane. Recalls the fourth of July celebrations with fireworks and baseball games. Describes the games the neighborhood children played in the summer.
