Abstract Thousands of people are lined up for a meat give away in Christmas of 1931 by K. & B. Packing and Provision Company. Louis K. Sigman gave away an average of 60,000 pounds of meat annually from 1931 to 1941. The meat distribution was done in front of the Denver Post Building at Sixteenth and Champa streets, Denver, Colorado. Eileen Cohen is washing dishes and the Toby Greif and Rachel Kinel are standing in front of a table of brown paper bags. The girls were in the care of the National Jewish Home for Asthmatic Children in Denver, which later became part of the National Jewish Hospital.
