Abstract

An ivory painted plaster cake 'topper' with sprays of artificial white flowers and sprays of light green artificial greenery from the 50th wedding anniversary of Max and Anna Schatz Rosenthal. The bride and groom were cast from solid plaster molds that were then painted. The bride is wearing a lace train and skirt that is ivory colored, the groom has a painted tuxedo and boutonniere. The base is adorned with white artificial flowers and a white ribbon tied in a bow.

Abstract The underdress is made from fine pink cotton and has three-quarter length sleeves covered in an ultra-fine silk chiffon. The lace overdress has lace appliqué leaves and flowers, (some have set rhinestones), as well as lace cutwork. A lace covered pinkwaist-cincher is in the center front. A long weighted tassel hangs from a multi-layered peach silk chiffon flower. Most of the lace floral and leaf design is toward the lower edge of the dress. Abstract A wedding gown with a waist drape. The bodice has three layers: bottom layer consists of ornate copper threads on ivory satin fabric (originally part of another garment made approximately ten years earlier); the middle layer is silk, and the top layer is silk jacquard. From the waist down, there are two layers: bottom layer is a fine thin silk underlay and the top layer is an off-white silk jacquard overdress. Abstract

A white wedding handkerchief with blue embroidery lining the perimeter of the handkerchief and featuring a blue cotton scalloped hem with blue embroidery above the hem on all four sides. The embroidery consists of block, satin, running and chain stitches and cutwork. The four corners have a design with one flower in each corner surrounded by fifteen smaller flowers and scores of small circles. This was worn by Peryle Hayutin Beck on her wedding day.
