Abstract Benjamin M. Blumberg (1911-1978) was in the newspaper business and was a reporter or editor for a number of Colorado newspapers, many of which focused on Colorado's Jewish community. Blumberg held leadership positions with many Jewish community organizations, including Allied Jewish Community Council, B'nai B'rith Lodge #171 in Denver, and the Jewish Youth Council in Denver. Abstract Ida Libert Uchill was born in 1917 on a farm outside of Denver, Colorado to Paul and Fannie Pepper Libert. She died in Maryland in 2014. She was the author of Pioneers, Peddlers and Tsadikim: The Story of Jews in Colorado which was published in 1957 and a third edition published in 2000.
