48 Star American Flag, circa 1927
A cotton flag with thirteen horizontal stripes, seven red and six white, with 48 white stars on a blue field in the upper left corner. This flag was presented to Israel Smith when he became a U.S. citizen at the age of 21, ca.1927.
B'nai B'rith 171, between 1950-1960
