Elliot and Ruth Mosko Handler, 2002-2016
Elliot and Ruth Mosko Handler co-founded the Mattel toy company. Ruth Handler created the Barbie and Ken dolls, named after the Handler children. The couple met in Denver, Colorado. Ruth Handler died in 2002 and Elliot Handler died in 2011.
