Abstract

Wood box with 48 lantern slides of a illustrated outline for the treatment of head and hand injuries. The box has two hinges on the front. There is also a cardboard box of ''Eastman Lantern Slide Plates'' containing one transparent sheet and red sheets with typed outlines on ''Deaths,'' ''Operations,'' and ''Surgery for Cholecystitis 1927 to 1937,'' and Radio-Mat Slide Co., Inc. frames.

The Oheb Zedek Congregation, or the ''Marion Street Shul'' as it was also known, broke away from the BMH Synagogue in 1911, then reunited with it in the 1940s. Sydney Grossman, son of merchant Abraham Grossman, is pictured standing third from the left.
