Abstract Exterior view of Chamberlin Observatory on the University Park Campus of the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado, with a dirt road (later Warren Avenue) in the foreground and a farmhouse in the background. The observatory is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is named for Humphrey B. Chamberlin, a local land developer who donated $50,000 toward the project. The observatory was designed by Denver astronomer Herbert A. Howe, and the architect was Robert Sawyers Roeschlaub....
