This image shows Essie White Cohn in front of a trailer with a label that says "University of Denver Dept of Physica". The trailer is located at the Mt. Evans High Altitude Laboratory, where Cohn participated in several studies on the effects of high altitude on nutrition.

This issue of the University of Denver Chemist, edited by Essie Cohn, was released in April 1924 and features articles on moving from school to the workforce, teaching high school chemistry, and notes regarding a variety of chemistry-related student organizations and events on campus, from fraternities to Pharmacy Club. The issue also features poems about chemistry and research, and notes on alumni and their activities.
