University of Denver vice chancellor and acting chancellor Wilbur D. Engle poses for a portrait. Engle served as vice chancellor starting in 1914. He also served as acting chancellor for two separate terms, first from 1920-1922 (between chancellors Buchtel and Harper), then from 1927-1928 (between chancellors Harper and Hunter).
