Report of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS) annual operations and finances for the period beginning January 1, 1925, and ending December 31, 1925; Dr. Philip Hillkowitz was the Society's President, and C.D. Spivak the Secretary. Includes images of new buildings, a new 135-foot water tank, and statistical data about patients for 1925. Published as volume 20, number 3 (July, August, September 1926) of The Sanatorium.
Unidentified Staff of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society, between 1920-1950
A doctor and two nurses who were employed at the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS). The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. It was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside Denver.
United States Lines Company Passenger Ticket, 1946 July 14
Max Loewenstein's first class passenger ticket on the SS Marine Perch, to sail July 18, 1946, from Bremen to New York dated July 14, 1946. Front side of the ticket is the receipt with passenger information describing Max Loewenstein and the total for the ticket. Printed across the front of the ticket is SPECIMEN COPY. Starting on the front and continuing to the back side of the ticket is the contract information and has two stamps from the United States Line.
