Abstract Adolf Goldhammer was born 1847 in Hungary and immigrated to Denver, Colorado in 1885 with his wife Betta and sons Abe and Jacob. He operated a liquor store and saloon hall that was often used as a meeting place for the Jewish community to hold meetings, plays and other cultural events.
