Established in 1945, Rose Medical Center is a private hospital in Denver, Colorado that provides general health care with an emphasis on women’s health, bariatrics, back and spine care,and cancer treatment. The original name was the General Maurice Rose Memorial Hospital.

In back of her are standing Maurice Shwayder, Ben Blumber, Mrs. Dave Cook, Joe Alpert, Mrs. Charles Shaper (Saralee Pollack), Arnold Rose (brother of General Maurice Rose). Marble paperweight given by Rose Memorial Hospital at the 3rd Armored Division reunion. Has a brown mounting on the back with a hole at the top, possibly for hanging purposes. The paperweight is 4 x 4 x 0.5 inches.
