Abstract A plaque at JCRS that says, '' In appreciation of their efforts in behalf of this building this tablet is dedicated to, Max D. Neusteter, Denver; Oscar Abel, New York; J.C. Berkson, New York; Samuel Goldberg, New York; John C. Mack, New York; Samuel Moskowitz, New York; and Louis Stern, Denver, 1921.'' Abstract

Four men in front of two chess boards watch an instructor point to visual aid chess board at the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS). The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. It was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver. Mounted on cardboard 10 x 13.5 inches.

The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. The sanatorium was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver.
