Biography

Irene Miller Stein is a noted Denver artist. She is the daughter of pioneer Colorado cattle dealer Robert Lazar Miller, who immigrated to Colorado from Lithuania in 1881. She married Azriel Stein, founder of Pencol Drug, a prominent Denver pharmacy for decades.

Abstract

A woman's black faille make-up case with belt loop and square make-up compact. A triangular cutout in the center top of the case allows visibility of a rhinestone ornament on the make-up compact that fits inside. This view shows the front of the make-up case and the rhinestone ornament on the make-up compact. Originally belonged to Irene Stein.
