Biographical / Historical

This collection contains a variety of materials on the Eller, Miller, and Creamer families. Starting from the beginning, this collection has a variety of photographs of Robert Lazar Miller (1845-1941). He was married to Anna Miller. They had five children: Morey, Jake, Abe, Irene Stein, and Sophie Peterman. Morey Miller (1896-1969) married Florence Creamer Miller (1901-1987) and they had two children--Eileen Miller and Leslie Miller. Eileen Miller (1927-2022) married Julian D. Levinson, who passed away in 1950, shortly after the birth of their son, Leslie Eller, in 1949. Eileen Miller remarried to Burton Eller and they had a girl named Lisa Eller Davis. Burton Eller was a widower and had a child prior to marrying Eileen named James Alan Eller. Eileen adopted James and Burton adopted Leslie Eller. Lisa was born after the adoptions.

Both Robert Lazar Miller and Morey Miller were in the agricultural and animal husbandry business. Robert Lazar Miller was a cattle buyer and seller, and worked at the Denver Stockyards. Morey Miller was a race horse owner and was heavily involved in horse racing in the Rocky Mountain region.
