Biography
Graduated from DU, served in the Army during WWII (Feb. 1942-?) in the Pacific Theater. He was president of National Asthma Center from 1973 to 1978. Charles Milton Schayer also had a son and grandson by the same name.

Exterior of the C.M. Schayer Store owned by Charles M. Schayer, with a sign posted at the top of the building. Eight unidentified men and children stand in front and on a balcony. The store was located at 409 Blake Street in Denver, Colorado. Charles and Ricka Saft Schayer arrived in Denver by covered wagon in 1865.

Charles Schayer seated for a head and shoulders portrait. Schayer arrived in Denver in 1865 by covered wagon. Schayer operated a wholesale cigar and liquor business and acted as lay rabbi until an ordained rabbi arrived in Denver.
